Jump Over The Rainbow- It Won't Rain Forever!!: They called to schedule

This serves little purpose other than to remember and document the day they called us to schedule our actual home visit. Which was today. And I want to throw up.
I havent called back yet but I know she'll know over the phone that I'm a wierdo and have super awkward phone social skills and she'll probably go ahead and stamp "awkard" on our file. My mind might be running away from me a bit. Just a tad.

Who we are

We are a married couple, both 30 years old, and have faced 4+ years of infertility, loss and diagnoses. We received final diagnoses of Primary Ovarian Insufficiency, Diminished Ovarian Reserve, High FSH, Endometriosis and a host of other issues, even including 3 fallopian tubes (no really!). We also struggled with multiple miscarriages and chemical pregnancies. We attempted adoption in June of 2012 that resulted in the baby returning home to her birth family after 12 days.

We later found out we were pregnant miraculously with baby Rhiannon and at 39 weeks 4 days, we got the devastating news that there was no heartbeat and we experienced laboring and birthing our daughter born sleeping.

We just keep looking to jump over the rainbow!

Rainbow Baby

A "rainbow baby" is a baby that is born following a miscarriage or still birth.

In the real world, a beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better. The rainbow is more appreciated having just experienced the storm in comparison.

The storm (pregnancy loss) has already happened and nothing can change that experience. Storm-clouds might still be overhead as the family continue to cope with the loss, but something colorful and bright has emerged from the darkness and misery.
